Pawan Kalyan Donates Rs. 10 Crores to Janasena Party
Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of the Janasena Party, has made a significant donation to his own party. He has contributed Rs. 10 crores of his personal funds to the Janasena Party. The donation was handed over to AV Ratnam, the party's treasurer, in the presence of Janasena Party's chief secretary Nagababu.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan cited the example of great leaders like Motilal Nehru, who donated their wealth for the freedom struggle, praising their spirit of using personal funds for a noble cause.
"For the noble cause of shaping a better future for the state, I am contributing Rs. 10 crores from my side to support the political journey of the Janasena Party, especially towards election campaign expenses. I believe this contribution will significantly benefit the party," said Pawan Kalyan.
He highlighted how even a common laborer sets aside Rs. 100 from his earnings to support the party's growth and how a mason donated Rs. 1 lakh. Similarly, many people, including those receiving pensions, are contributing their part to the party with many hopes and aspirations.
Inspired by such spirit, Pawan Kalyan expressed his happiness in donating the money he earned from movies, after paying taxes, to the party. He believes this contribution will be very beneficial to the party during the elections.
