Key Janasena and TDP Leaders Switch to YSRCP In the presence of CM Jagan
As Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to take place on May 13 in Andhra Pradesh, the political landscape is witnessing a flurry of defections and new joinings, particularly among the major parties. In a recent development, leaders from the Janasena party in Vijayawada have joined the YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Janasena party's Vijayawada East Assembly constituency in-charge, Battina Ramu, was formally inducted into the YSRCP, with CM Jagan draping the party's scarf around him as a gesture of welcome.
Former corporators from Vijayawada, Ganduri Mahesh, Sandepu Jagadeesh, and former co-option member Kokkiligadda Devamani, among others, have also switched allegiances to the YSRCP. The joining ceremony saw the participation of Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani, former minister Vellampalli Srinivasarao, and other dignitaries.
From Visakhapatnam, Janasena leaders Boddeti Anuradha and Boggu Srinivas have also joined the YSRCP in the presence of CM Jagan.
Furthermore, TDP's Rajampeta in-charge Ganta Narahari has joined the YSRCP, with CM Jagan personally welcoming him by draping the party's scarf. Chinnam Ramakotaiah, a former MLA from Nuzvid, has also joined the YSRCP today.
