Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy attended a public meeting in Piduguralla, Palnadu district, this evening, where he discussed the issue of employment for the youth. He revealed that since coming to power, his government has filled 2.31 lakh job vacancies, criticizing the previous administration under Chandrababu Naidu for filling only 32 thousand positions. "Where are the 2.31 lakh jobs filled by your son, and where are the 32 thousand jobs provided by Chandrababu?" CM Jagan questioned, implying who should come to power if jobs are to be provided.
He challenged the number of jobs filled during Chandrababu Naidu's 14 years of governance. CM Jagan highlighted that his administration appointed 54,000 individuals in the medical sector alone and provided jobs to 1.35 lakh people through the establishment of village secretariats. He posed a rhetorical question about the choice between a 'fan' (symbolizing his party) and a 'rusted bicycle' (symbolizing Chandrababu Naidu's party) to signify the better option for job creation.
CM Jagan clarified that the upcoming elections are not just a contest between him and Chandrababu Naidu but between the people and the deceit of Naidu. He warned that government schemes would halt if Chandrababu Naidu was voted back into power and criticized the so-called 'yellow media' for misleading the public. He metaphorically stated that while his party is ready for peace, the opposition perceives it as a call to war.
He urged the public to reject Chandrababu Naidu's deceptions, emphasizing that voting for Naidu would betray the poor. CM Jagan mocked Naidu's changing demeanor before and after elections, likening him to a river before elections and to the Chandramukhi afterwards. Finally, he called on the voters to support his son, Jagan, and the YSRCP to continue the welfare programs, portraying YSRCP as the party of the poor.
