Hyderabad: The Election Commission has issued notices to KCR, the leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Chief Minister, following his remarks at a BRS rally held in Sircilla on the 5th of this month. At the rally, KCR leveled severe criticisms against the Congress government and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The Election Commission has asked for an explanation from him by 11 AM on Thursday in response to these comments.

Congress leader Niranjan Reddy reported to the Election Commission that KCR made inappropriate remarks about Revanth Reddy at the Sircilla rally, leading to the issuance of the notices last night. KCR's legal team is expected to respond to the notices by tomorrow. During his speech at the Sircilla rally, KCR referred to his opponents using terms such as "looters" and "sons of dogs."

Additionally, the BRS has also filed a complaint against Congress leaders, accusing them of baseless and false allegations against KCR and KTR during the election campaign. They also alleged that Congress MLAs were spreading false information regarding phone tapping issues.
