According to Devineni Uma, a leader and former minister of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh, the state's future depends on Chandrababu Naidu becoming the Chief Minister again. He criticized the current YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government, accusing it of destructive and looting policies. Uma also alleged that the YSRCP administration has turned the state into a hub for marijuana.
He emphasized that for the youth to receive job opportunities, Chandrababu Naidu needs to return to power. He stated that Naidu’s first action as Chief Minister would be to sign a major educational reform known as the Mega DSC. Uma urged the public to use their vote as a weapon to overthrow the anarchic forces currently governing the state. He expressed confidence that the YSRCP government would be defeated in the upcoming elections by a 'tsunami' created by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), suggesting a widespread desire for change among the populace.
