Since the stone attack in Vijayawada, it was well known that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy had been appearing with a bandage on his forehead. However, he was seen without the bandage today during the release of the YSR Congress Party manifesto. In response, TDP National General Secretary Narra Lokesh commented on this development.
Lokesh mocked, "The bandage disappeared due to people's trolling... If you zoom in, even the wound has vanished." He also shared close-up photos of CM Jagan to emphasize his point.
On the night of April 13, CM Jagan was attacked with a stone at Sing Nagar in Vijayawada. The attack caused a wound on the left side of his forehead, and allegedly, former minister Vellampalli Srinivasarao, who was near him, was also injured.
Opposition leaders continued to ridicule CM Jagan's injury until yesterday. Dr. Suneetha, daughter of Viveka Kumar, advised that bandaging such minor wounds could lead to septic conditions and suggested that it was okay to remove the bandage.
