In a recent meeting held in Nellore at Shadi Manzil, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu accused the YSRCP government of escalating attacks and injustices against Muslims. He contrasted this with his administration's past efforts, claiming that during the TDP's tenure, Muslims received fair treatment and substantial development initiatives were undertaken.
Naidu emphasized that governance should serve the people and not be driven by selfish looting and deception. He recalled several projects from his time in office that aimed to support the Muslim community, including the establishment of Urdu University in Hyderabad, construction of Haj houses in Kadapa and Vijayawada, and the development of Shadi Manzil which cost Rs. 8 crores.
He questioned whether the YSRCP government had initiated even a single building project for Muslims in the last five years. Naidu also criticized the current government for giving Rs. 10 to the public but taking Rs. 100 back, indicating a disproportionate increase in prices of everyday essentials under YSRCP's rule. He highlighted that during the TDP regime, statewide festivals were organized and the Abdul Kalam Skill Development Center was established, suggesting these as benchmarks of his commitment to development and public welfare.
