Prime Minister Narendra Modi and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu attended a public meeting in Rajupalem, Anakapalli district. Modi, addressing the gathering, invoked the local deity Nookalamma and commemorated the freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju.

Modi mentioned that he would need to leave by 5:45 PM, thus he spoke earlier and urged the people to stay and listen to Chandrababu's speech after his departure.

Highlighting the local culture, Modi praised the sweetness of Anakapalli's jaggery and the Telugu language, predicting an increase in sweetness with the expected victory of the NDA in the upcoming elections. He suggested that a 'double engine' government (both state and central governments from the same coalition) would elevate development to new heights.

He also mentioned India's economic and space achievements and addressed issues like alleged government corruption in AP under the YSR Congress Party, comparing it with issues in Karnataka under different governance. Modi criticized the AP government's inaction and obstruction in central projects and development initiatives, including the housing schemes and land allotments necessary for central projects.

He specifically pointed out the North Andhra Sujala Sravanthi project as a significant example of the YSRCP government's performance, lamenting the lack of progress despite its potential benefits for local agriculture and accusing the state government of hampering projects like Polavaram, which had significant central investment.

Modi reaffirmed his commitment to development, contrasting it with the corruption he attributed to the YSR Congress. He ended his speech by urging the public to support coalition candidates in the upcoming elections, highlighting central initiatives like insurance for fishermen, the establishment of institutions like IIM and Petroleum University in Visakhapatnam, and support for a bulk drug park in Nakkapalli, aimed at boosting investment and employment.
