Amaravati: Senior TDP leader and Rajahmundry Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary spoke to the media today. He mocked Jagan's decision to re-engage with the public, predicting that Jagan would be met with stones and shoes due to his previous actions.

Chowdary criticized Jagan Mohan Reddy for pretending to preach morals while keeping foul-mouthed individuals in chains. He questioned if Jagan had ever left the Tadepalli Palace to interact with the people. He sarcastically remarked that in five years, Jagan might end up in either Chanchalguda Jail or Rajahmundry Central Jail.

Chowdary accused Jagan of looting more in the past five years than he did during his father's tenure. He warned that comprehensive investigations would be conducted and the guilty would be punished. He asserted that Jagan deserves punishment for engaging in murderous politics and looting.

Chowdary also addressed the issue of not receiving a ministerial position. He explained that the TDP, in alliance with Jana Sena and BJP, had to make seat adjustments and ministerial positions according to the coalition's principles and social equations. He clarified that he did not mind not getting a ministerial post.

"I hoped to get a ministerial position. I thought I would be recognized in the final phase of my political career. But what if I didn't get it? Did we work only when we had positions? I worked in Rajahmundry four times and in Rajahmundry Rural three times without any position. Positions are not important; working is important. However, having a position provides some flexibility," explained Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary.
