Revanth Reddy: Aspiration to Become CM Fulfilled
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that his lifelong goal to unseat KCR and his aspiration to become the Chief Minister have been fulfilled. He mentioned that his focus now is solely on the reconstruction of Telangana. On Thursday, he spoke casually with the media in Delhi, mentioning that his term as PCC president has ended. He stated that he would work with whoever is appointed as the TPCC president and that he has no specific preference for the appointment.
He remarked that it was during his tenure that the Congress party came to power in Telangana and that they performed well in the parliamentary elections. He noted that their vote share increased in the parliamentary elections compared to the assembly elections. He criticized that KCR has completely given up in Telangana, which led to the strengthening of the BJP. He also criticized KCR’s administration, saying that it has completely destroyed Telangana.
He highlighted that where BRS received deposits, they (Congress) won, and where BRS lost deposits, the BJP won. He promised that he would not engage in vindictive politics. He claimed that they have made BRS zero in the Lok Sabha and that his desire to nullify the party has been fulfilled.
