He mentioned that he visited his constituency today to express his gratitude by distributing pensions to the public who elected him with a large majority. Pawan Kalyan participated in the NTR Bharosa social pension distribution event held on Monday at Gollaprolu in Kakinada district, under the Pithapuram constituency, and delivered a speech after distributing pensions to several beneficiaries. He expressed his lifelong indebtedness to the people of Pithapuram.
Pawan Kalyan noted that he has taken on key departments in the government and that understanding and studying them will take some time. He emphasized his preference for speaking less and doing more work. Though he intended to work as the Panchayati Raj Minister with a salary, he pointed out that there were no funds in the department. This is why he refrained from signing the file related to the last month’s salary for a few days. He informed officials that he does not need a salary and criticized the previous government for the unclear whereabouts of the Panchayati funds. He accused the then Chief Minister of building a palace in Rushikonda despite the department’s lack of funds. Pawan Kalyan assured the public that there would be no corruption from his side in the Panchayati Raj department.
Water Scarcity in Godavari Districts
Pawan Kalyan mentioned that despite the proximity to the Godavari River, many areas in the Godavari districts are facing a shortage of drinking water. He criticized the previous government for not utilizing the abundant Jal Jeevan Mission funds. He accused them of negligence for not providing matching grants despite the central government’s readiness to allocate funds upon request. He stated that while he does not promise miracles in the next five years, he guarantees that the government will act responsibly. Pawan Kalyan reiterated his commitment to working for his country and land, emphasizing that he is dedicated to the state's development and public welfare. He expressed no interest in boasting about victories but rather in developing his departments and making the Pithapuram constituency a role model for the country.
No Desire to Amass Wealth
Pawan Kalyan highlighted the importance of skill training centers to harness the potential of the youth and provide training for those going abroad. He called for bringing in non-polluting industries and clarified that he has no desire to amass wealth, but only to secure a lasting place in the hearts of the people. He stated that while tasks cannot be completed instantly, they will strive to make it happen. He assured that all eligible people would receive pensions, regardless of whether they voted for his party or not.
