Film director Ram Gopal Varma, accused of sharing morphed photos of Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh, has filed another petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Varma, who has reportedly gone into hiding to evade police questioning, stated in his petition that multiple cases are being registered against him for a single post on X (formerly Twitter). He argued that filing multiple cases on the same matter is unjust and claimed that the registration of cases across the state is illegal. Varma requested the High Court to issue orders preventing further cases and to quash the ones already registered against him.

Previously, Varma had filed an anticipatory bail petition, which was scheduled for a hearing yesterday but did not come up in court. It is expected to be taken up today. Meanwhile, police teams continue their search for Varma, who, instead of appearing for questioning, remains active on social media
