The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has prohibited political and hate speeches at Tirumala. This decision was finalized during a recent TTD Board meeting and has now been officially implemented. The TTD clarified that any violation of this rule would result in legal action.
The decision comes in response to the increasing trend of political leaders addressing the media at Tirumala and making political statements, often engaging in criticisms. Such practices were becoming a regular occurrence on the hill shrine premises.
TTD stated that this step was necessary to preserve the sanctity and spiritual tranquility of the Tirumala temple and its surroundings.
