Sanjay Raut Says Eknath Shinde's Era Has Ended
Sanjay Raut, a prominent leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT) faction, has made bold statements claiming that Eknath Shinde’s political era has come to an end and that he will never serve as Chief Minister again. Speaking to the media, Raut accused the BJP of exploiting Shinde for political gains and later sidelining him. He further alleged that the BJP no longer requires Shinde and may even dissolve his party if it becomes necessary.
Sanjay Raut criticized these developments as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's broader political strategy. He also alleged that the BJP has a history of sidelining those who align with them politically.
Highlighting the delay in forming the government, Raut pointed out that despite the BJP securing a majority in Maharashtra, it took them 15 days to establish a new government, hinting at possible internal issues within the Mahayuti (Grand Alliance).
Furthermore, Sanjay Raut accused the leaders of the Mahayuti coalition of prioritizing their selfish political ambitions and power over the welfare of Maharashtra or the nation.
Meanwhile, later today, Devendra Fadnavis is set to take oath as Chief Minister, while Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar will assume the roles of Deputy Chief Ministers.
