New Car Celebration Ends in Tragedy on AP Highway
A fatal road accident occurred near Brahmanapalli on the Addanki-Narketpalli highway in Palnadu district, Andhra Pradesh. A car lost control and crashed into a tree near Geetika School, resulting in the death of four people on the spot, while four others sustained injuries.
Upon receiving information, police rushed to the scene and conducted a preliminary investigation. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Piduguralla for treatment.
Authorities suspect that overspeeding caused the accident. The victims were returning from a pilgrimage to the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple in Telangana when the tragic incident occurred.
The deceased were identified as Thulluru Suresh, Vanitha, Yogulu, and Venkateswarlu, all from Siripuram in Kavali Mandal of Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district. They were reportedly on their way back after performing a ritual for their newly purchased car.
