During the third Test match against Australia at the Gabba, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah impressed with both ball and bat. After the third day's play, a reporter questioned Bumrah about his batting skills. In response, Bumrah humorously suggested searching on Google for the record of the most runs scored in a single over in Test cricket.

Bumrah holds this record, having scored 35 runs in a single over against Stuart Broad during the Birmingham Test in 2022—a world record in Test cricket.

Reacting to this incident, Google CEO Sundar Pichai took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared his thoughts. He mentioned that he did search on Google and noted that those who can hit a six off Pat Cummins know how to bat well. Pichai also praised Bumrah and Akash Deep for their determined partnership, which helped India avoid the follow-on during the first innings of the third Test. Bumrah's six off Cummins left cricket fans in awe.
