'' Humanity Prompted My Visit to Sri Tej,” Says Actor Jagapati Babu
Jagapati Babu, a renowned actor, addressed the ongoing discussions surrounding his visit to Sri Tej, a young boy undergoing treatment in a hospital following a tragic incident. This comes amidst criticism from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who alleged that while film celebrities rushed to console actor Allu Arjun after his release from jail, none visited Sri Tej or his family.
In a video released today, Jagapati Babu stated, “I felt the urge to visit Sri Tej and his family. As soon as I completed my shooting schedule, I went to the hospital and met them.” The actor clarified that he is not someone who seeks publicity, which is why he hadn’t mentioned his visit publicly earlier. However, he decided to speak up now to clear any misconceptions.
Jagapati Babu emphasized that his visit was purely out of empathy for the victims. “I wanted to meet Sri Tej, his father, and his sister. It was heartbreaking, but I felt optimistic after seeing the situation at the hospital. There is hope for recovery,” he remarked, expressing his wishes for Sri Tej’s speedy recovery.
The actor concluded by reiterating that his actions stemmed from a sense of humanity rather than a desire for attention.
