Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated that he and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy are closely monitoring the challenges faced by former sarpanches and other local body representatives. Speaking to the media today, Bhatti Vikramarka revealed plans to release funds to address these issues, particularly the pending bills of local representatives such as sarpanches, MPTC (Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency) members, and ZPTC (Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency) members.

"We intend to clear the outstanding bills of local body representatives, which amount to approximately ₹1,300 crore. Out of this, pending bills worth ₹400 crore pertain to smaller claims under ₹10 lakh," Bhatti Vikramarka stated. He added that priority would be given to the release of these smaller payments in the initial phase.

Bhatti Vikramarka accused the previous administration of keeping these bills in abeyance, further exacerbating the difficulties faced by local body representatives. He criticized the BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) leaders, remarking that the less they spoke about this issue, the better it would be.
