Allu Aravind and Raghavendra Rao Laud CM Revanth Reddy’s Vision for Telugu Film Industry
The meeting between Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and prominent figures from the Telugu film industry concluded successfully. Approximately 46 members from the film fraternity attended the session. During the meeting, the Chief Minister provided strategic guidance on several initiatives to be undertaken for the benefit of the industry.
Renowned producer Allu Aravind, father of actor Allu Arjun, expressed his gratitude to the government for facilitating the interaction. He described the day as a significant milestone for Telugu film producers. Allu Aravind assured the government of the industry’s full support in transforming Hyderabad into a world-class shooting destination.
He also highlighted Hyderabad’s suitability for film shoots, noting that even Mumbai filmmakers acknowledge it as an ideal location due to its relatively lower traffic issues. Referring to incidents like the one at Sandhya Theater, Allu Aravind pledged to work towards ensuring such occurrences are not repeated.
Legendary filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that he, like other leaders before him, has shown great care for the film industry. Raghavendra Rao welcomed the appointment of Dil Raju as the Chairman of the Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC). He also emphasized the potential of Telangana’s stunning tourist spots as film-shooting locations.
Recalling Chandrababu Naidu’s initiative of hosting the Children’s Film Festival in Hyderabad, Raghavendra Rao suggested that an international film festival could also be organized in the city, further enhancing its global appeal.
