In a significant development, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has agreed to accept recommendation letters from Telangana public representatives for special darshan at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). This decision was announced following a meeting between TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu and the Chief Minister.

In recent weeks, several leaders from Telangana have urged the TTD administration to allow recommendation letters from their state’s representatives for darshan privileges. Responding to these demands, Chandrababu Naidu has decided to permit four recommendation letters per week from Telangana legislators.

The approval includes two letters for break darshan and two for ₹300 special darshan tickets. These provisions will be applicable to recommendation letters issued by Telangana Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Members of Legislative Council (MLCs), and Members of Parliament (MPs). Chairman B.R. Naidu confirmed this decision, stating that the TTD administration would implement the directive as instructed by the Chief Minister.
