Telugu Actress and Director Aparna Malladi Passes Away

Tragedy struck Tollywood as actress, writer, producer, and director Aparna Malladi succumbed to cancer. She was 54 years old. Aparna passed away in Los Angeles, USA, after battling cancer for two years. Initially, her body responded well to treatment, but later, the disease advanced, rendering the treatment ineffective. Seeking better medical care, she moved to the United States, where she continued her treatment but sadly passed away.

Aparna Malladi began her film career with the movie The Anushree Experiments. She later created the web series Posh Poris, which was released on YouTube before the advent of major OTT platforms. Two years ago, she directed the film Pellikuthuru. Shortly after completing the project, she was diagnosed with cancer.

It is said that Aparna played a significant role in supporting aspiring actors and directors by providing them with opportunities. She was also known for teaching filmmaking techniques to students at film institutes. Her untimely demise has left the Tollywood film industry in mourning, with several prominent personalities expressing their shock and condolences over her passing.
