YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President and the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting today in Tadepalli with party leaders from the Nellore district. During the meeting, he made significant remarks on the political landscape and outlined his plans to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence.

Jagan criticized the present governance under N. Chandrababu Naidu, alleging it was marked by mismanagement. He stated, “The state is currently governed by the Red Book Constitution. Due to the disastrous policies of Chandrababu Naidu’s administration, we are compelled to stand firmly by the people.”

Highlighting his government’s achievements, Jagan said, “During our tenure, we ensured that welfare schemes reached every household through door-to-door delivery. However, it is unfortunate that people are now being forced to turn to TDP leaders for support.” He urged party leaders to stand as a pillar of strength for the public during these challenging times.

YS Jagan announced his plans to engage directly with citizens, stating that he would begin district tours from the end of January or early February. He disclosed, “I will spend three days each week in one parliamentary constituency, meeting with party workers from two assembly constituencies every day.”

Jagan also emphasized the importance of strengthening the party’s organizational structure, starting at the booth level, and effectively utilizing social media platforms. He remarked, “We are not just fighting against Chandrababu Naidu but also against a corrupt media ecosystem. Every party member must recognize the significance of social media in today’s political environment.”

The YSRCP chief concluded by urging all leaders and workers to intensify their efforts to bolster the party’s position in the state ahead of the upcoming elections.
