YSR Congress Party chief and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has received clearance from the CBI court to travel abroad. The court has allowed Jagan to visit London from January 11 to January 30. This approval follows his request to attend his daughter’s graduation ceremony in London. Jagan’s daughters are currently pursuing their education in the United Kingdom. In his plea, Jagan requested the court’s permission to visit London, which was granted for a period of 20 days.

Meanwhile, in a separate development, the Andhra Pradesh High Court provided relief to Jagan on another matter. The High Court issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for him to obtain a passport. The court directed the concerned authorities to issue the passport with a validity of five years. The High Court also overturned the earlier order of the Special Court for People's Representatives in Vijayawada, which had dismissed Jagan’s petition seeking the NOC.
