CM Chandrababu Presents ₹25 Lakh Cheque to Young Cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today presented a ₹25 lakh cheque to young cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy for his exceptional performance during a recent tour of Australia. Nitish, accompanied by his father, Muthyala Reddy, met the Chief Minister at Undavalli, where the cheque was handed over in recognition of his achievements.
Nitish Kumar Reddy garnered attention with his all-round performance in the Australia tour, including a heroic century that highlighted his talent. Acknowledging his contribution, the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) announced a reward of ₹25 lakh. ACA President and TDP MP Kesineni Srinivas (Chinni) facilitated the presentation of the cheque by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Following the event, Chandrababu Naidu took to social media to praise the young cricketer. In his tweet, he wrote, "I met our extraordinarily talented young cricketer, Nitish Kumar Reddy, today. He is a shining star from the Telugu community who has made India proud on the global stage through his performance.
