Team India Arrives in Nagpur for ODI Series Against England – Watch the Video!
Team India, fresh from their 4-1 victory in the five-match T20 series against England, has now set its sights on the three-match ODI series. The series will commence with the first ODI on February 6 (Thursday) at Nagpur. In preparation, the Indian squad arrived in Nagpur on Sunday night.
Star players including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal were spotted at Nagpur airport before heading directly to their team hotel. The squad is set to begin practice sessions from today.
As part of the three-match ODI series, the second ODI is scheduled for February 9 in Cuttack, while the third and final match will be played on February 12 in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah will miss the first two ODIs, but he is expected to be available for the third match, according to BCCI sources. In his absence, Harshit Rana has been included in the squad.
This series is expected to serve as crucial preparation for both England and India ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.
