Police Mistake Team India Staff Member for a Fan, Deny Hotel Entry – Viral Video

The Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, has arrived in Nagpur for the first match of their three-match ODI series against England. However, an unusual incident occurred upon their arrival at the hotel, where a team staff member was mistaken for a fan and briefly denied entry by the police. A video of the incident has surfaced online and is now going viral.
As the players and support staff were disembarking from the team bus and entering the hotel, throwdown specialist Raghu was stopped by the police, who assumed he was a fan. In the viral video, Raghu can be seen attempting to convince the officers that he is part of the Indian team. After a short delay, the police realized their mistake and allowed him inside.

The three-match series against England is set to begin on Thursday. The second ODI will take place on February 9 in Cuttack, followed by the final match on February 12 in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, BCCI sources have confirmed that India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah will miss the first two ODIs but is likely to play in the third. Harshit Rana has been included in the squad as his replacement.
This ODI series serves as crucial preparation for both India and England ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.
