No Personal Chefs for Team India: Virat Kohli’s Unique Food Arrangement in Dubai
The Indian cricket team has arrived in Dubai for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, with players already engaged in rigorous practice sessions. However, a recent directive from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has placed restrictions on certain personal arrangements for players during overseas tours. As per the new regulations, cricketers are no longer permitted to bring their personal chefs, stylists, or support staff on international tours. Instead, BCCI has arranged a single chef for the entire team.

Renowned for his strict diet and disciplined fitness regime, Virat Kohli found a unique way to ensure he received the food he required. According to sources, shortly after arriving at the practice venue on Sunday, Kohli received a food delivery in neatly packed containers. With no personal chef allowed, he had coordinated with the local team manager to arrange his meals from a well-known food outlet. Reports suggest that Kohli provided precise instructions regarding the preparation of his meals, which the manager then relayed to the food provider.

"Following the practice session, Kohli was handed a few food packets. While other players were busy packing up their kits, he finished his meal on the spot. He also set aside some packets to eat later on the team bus," sources from the cricketing fraternity revealed.

As the ICC Champions Trophy draws closer, India is set to play its opening match against Bangladesh on February 20, followed by a high-profile encounter against Pakistan on February 23, and a clash with New Zealand on March 1.
