Jagan Lacks the Courage to Question the Ruling Party in the Assembly: Sharmila

Andhra Pradesh Congress President Y. S. Sharmila has strongly criticized YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for visiting Vijayawada jail to meet Vallabhaneni Vamsi while avoiding participation in the state assembly.
Sharmila accused Jagan Mohan Reddy of prioritizing visits to criminals and those involved in violent acts over attending the assembly to address public issues. "He finds time to hold press conferences and narrate long explanations, but he does not have the courage to confront the ruling party in the assembly," she alleged.
Referring to the absence of YSRCP legislators in the assembly, Sharmila further stated, "The people elected 11 YSRCP MLAs, yet their party president is deliberately avoiding assembly sessions. Such leaders and MLAs have no right to move among the public, nor do they possess the moral authority to speak on people's issues."
She demanded that YSRCP MLAs attend the assembly and expose the failures of the coalition government on the legislative floor. "If they lack the courage to attend even this time, they should immediately resign," Sharmila wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
