Badminton Doubles Player Satwiksairaj's Father Passes Away Due to Heart Attack

Indian badminton doubles star Satwiksairaj Rankireddy suffered a personal loss as his father, Kashi Vishwanath, passed away due to a heart attack. He was 67 years old.

Kashi Vishwanath collapsed while traveling by car after leaving his residence in Amalapuram to attend an awards ceremony in Delhi, where Satwiksairaj's manager was set to receive the Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award on his behalf. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.

Kashi Vishwanath was a retired Physical Education Teacher (PET), while his wife, Ranganayaki, is a schoolteacher. His elder son, Charan Teja, works as a software engineer in the United States. The final rites will be performed after his arrival.
