Revanth Reddy Challenges Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay for Debate on Modi’s Governance

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has challenged Union Ministers Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay for a debate on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12-year governance and the Congress party’s 12-month rule in Telangana. He asserted that he and Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha were ready to participate in the discussion at any venue and time.
Revanth Reddy suggested that the debate should focus on the promises made by Modi during the Telangana Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. He questioned whether the Prime Minister had fulfilled his pledge to bring back black money from foreign countries and distribute it among India’s poor. "Modi had promised to recover black money from abroad and deposit it in the accounts of the poor. Has a single rupee been credited to anyone’s account so far?" he asked. He further alleged that instead of retrieving black money, those possessing such wealth had fled the country.
Criticizing the BJP-led central government, Revanth Reddy stated, "Neither has the black money been brought back, nor have the poor benefited from it." He also questioned Modi’s promise of providing two crore jobs annually. "In these 12 years, should there not have been 24 crore jobs? Where are they?" he asked.
The Chief Minister challenged whether Modi’s associates would come forward for a debate on the promises made by the BJP or whether the Prime Minister himself would present an account of his commitments. He alleged that while former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) deceived the people in one way, Narendra Modi misled them in another.
Revanth Reddy emphasized that the Congress was prepared to reveal the truth to the people of Telangana. He also spoke about initiating projects in Kodangal to address unemployment issues in the region.
