Chandrababu Engaged in Massive Corruption in FiberNet: Gowtham Reddy
Poonuru Gowtham Reddy, former chairman of Andhra Pradesh State FiberNet Corporation, has alleged that N. Chandrababu Naidu engaged in large-scale corruption in the FiberNet project during his tenure from 2014 to 2019. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of deliberately weakening the profitable FiberNet initiative and conspiring to hand it over to private companies.

Gowtham Reddy claimed that under the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government, FiberNet was put on a profitable path, but efforts were now being made to destroy the institution. "During our tenure, we conducted an inquiry into the massive corruption that took place in FiberNet under Chandrababu Naidu's rule. The CID has proven his involvement in corruption and illegal activities," he stated.

He further alleged that corruption occurred in every FiberNet contract and criticized Chandrababu Naidu for attempting to have the cases against him dismissed after becoming Chief Minister again.
