Nara Lokesh Calls for First-Preference Vote Success in MLC Elections

Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, has emphasized that the alliance candidates must secure a decisive victory in the Graduate MLC elections for the twin Godavari districts and Krishna-Guntur region through first-preference votes. He made these remarks during a review meeting with senior party leaders at his residence in Undavalli today.
During the meeting, Lokesh noted that the limited campaign time necessitates the effective use of technology to reach out to every voter. He also highlighted that since the polling day coincides with the Mahashivratri festival, party in-charge ministers and MLAs must take responsibility to ensure that all voters visit polling booths and exercise their franchise.
To oversee election-day proceedings in real time, Lokesh directed the establishment of a war room at the central office. He urged all alliance leaders to work collectively to secure a resounding victory for the party’s candidates.
The meeting was attended by TDP state president Palla Srinivas Rao, MLCs Bhoomireddy Rambhoopal Reddy, Kancherla Srikanth, Vepada Chiranjeevi, zonal coordinators Sujayakrishna Rangarao, M.V. Satyanarayana Raju, Damacharla Satya, Mandalapu Ravi, and other senior leaders.
