MS Dhoni Receives Grand Welcome in Chennai Ahead of IPL 2025

Cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni has arrived in Chennai ahead of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Dhoni received a grand welcome at the Chennai airport from fans and supporters. He is set to participate in the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) training camp, where he will begin practice sessions in preparation for the upcoming season. Several other players are also expected to join the camp.

The 18th season of the IPL is scheduled to begin on March 22, 2025. Chennai Super Kings will play their first match on March 23, 2025, at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai against Mumbai Indians.

Under Dhoni’s leadership, Chennai Super Kings have won the IPL title five times. However, last year, Dhoni stepped down from captaincy and handed over the leadership responsibilities to young cricketer Ruturaj Gaikwad.
