NDA Government Prioritizing Welfare and Development, Says CM Chandrababu Naidu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that the NDA government is prioritizing the welfare of economically weaker sections in the state budget, with a focus on the overall development of the people. Speaking at a pension distribution event in Gangadhara Nellore, Chittoor district, he criticized the previous government, claiming that no one in the state was happy during the past five years, but now, under the current administration, people are content.

During the Praja Vedika program, Chandrababu Naidu provided clarity on the implementation of various government schemes. He emphasized the "Super Six" initiative, which he said would bring positive changes to the lives of the poor.

"My goal is to bring light into the lives of the poor and ensure their happiness. We have seen the previous government's rule—they destroyed the state. They consumed and ruined everything like wild boars. Now, we are moving forward step by step, balancing development and welfare. We have cleared ₹24,000 crore in pending dues left by the previous government. Our budget of ₹3 lakh crore is aimed at the welfare of the underprivileged," he said.

Chandrababu Naidu announced that by June this year, teacher recruitment through DSC would be completed, and postings would be given. Under the Talli Ki Vandanam scheme, ₹15,000 will be deposited per child in May. Under the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme, eligible farmers will receive ₹20,000 annually. Additionally, ₹20,000 financial aid will be provided to fishermen. The government is also offering quality meals to the poor at ₹5 through the Anna Canteens. "We have already repealed the Land Titling Act," he added.

Chandrababu Naidu revealed that the government would launch the P4 initiative for poverty eradication on Ugadi, March 30. He stated that public opinion and suggestions would be considered in implementing this model. The plan aims to financially uplift the bottom 20% of the population by leveraging the wealth of the top 10%.

He accused the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government of looting the state through faulty policies. "While the NDA government is sincerely spending every rupee for the poor, the previous rulers diverted central funds for other purposes. When I turned waste into wealth, they imposed taxes on garbage instead of cleaning it up. Not a single village saw a cement road in the last five years. Even the Gokulam housing projects were built under my tenure. In the last nine months, we have repaired 20,000 km of roads and filled potholes," he stated.

Chandrababu Naidu declared that his goal is to provide every citizen in the state with housing, drinking water, toilets, electricity, and gas connections under the Deepam scheme. He urged people to stay alert regarding the mismanagement of central funds by the previous administration. "I ask the people to think carefully about which party benefits them. Those who divide people based on caste, religion, and region will only harm the state," he concluded.
