Roja Condemns Posani Krishna Murali’s Arrest, Calls It Unjust
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and former minister R.K. Roja has strongly condemned the arrest of actor Posani Krishna Murali, calling it an unjust action. She criticized the authorities for arresting him now over remarks made six years ago, questioning how sentiments could suddenly be hurt after such a long time.

Roja alleged that a case was unfairly registered against Posani Krishna Murali under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Section 111 and that he was being deliberately targeted. She questioned whether similar cases could be filed against Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders N. Chandrababu Naidu, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Nara Lokesh for their past statements that, according to her, also attacked the character of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Further criticizing Chandrababu Naidu, Roja denounced his reported directive to avoid extending support to YSRCP sympathizers. She questioned whether the government does not collect taxes from YSRCP supporters as well. She alleged that anyone who speaks against Chandrababu Naidu or points out his faults is being unfairly implicated in false cases and imprisoned.

Roja warned that if the government continues to suppress opposition through illegal cases, the same situation could repeat in the future. She asserted that if YSRCP returns to power, coalition leaders will be held accountable with interest. She also criticized the TDP government, stating that Chandrababu Naidu has not fulfilled a single election promise. Referring to the recent state budget, she claimed that it has made it clear to the public that this is not a government that will benefit them but one that will burden them.
