"How Can You Allocate Funds for a Completed Project?" Payyavula Keshav Questions YSRCP
Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav has strongly criticized YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) legislators, accusing them of avoiding the Assembly while continuing to attack the government from outside. He alleged that YSRCP members were engaging in misinformation campaigns, fabricating issues instead of addressing real concerns.

"They are afraid to come to the Assembly because they know their past mistakes will be exposed," said Payyavula Keshav. He further alleged that the YSRCP's past misdeeds were now haunting them, preventing them from facing legislative discussions.

Payyavula Keshav blamed YSRCP for financial mismanagement during its five-year tenure, claiming that its administration focused more on suppressing opposition voices rather than ensuring economic stability. "They snatched food from the poor, and that's why they were reduced to just 11 seats," he said, referring to the party’s significant electoral defeat.

Responding to YSRCP's criticism that the current budget did not allocate funds for the Veligonda project, Keshav argued that the project had already been completed during the YSRCP regime. "If they themselves declared the project completed and dedicated it to the nation, how can they now demand additional allocations for it?" he questioned.
