AP Govt Sends SSC Hall Tickets via WhatsApp, Preventing School Harassment
For the first time in Andhra Pradesh, students appearing for the SSC (Class 10) examinations have received their hall tickets directly via WhatsApp. This initiative aims to curb alleged harassment by certain private schools that, in previous years, were accused of withholding hall tickets over unpaid fees.

To prevent such incidents, the state government has sent hall tickets directly to the phone numbers provided by the students. This allows them to download their hall tickets independently, ensuring they are not subjected to pressure from school managements.

This is the first time such a system has been implemented in the state. A similar process was recently introduced for Intermediate (Class 12) students, who also received their hall tickets via WhatsApp.

Parents and students have welcomed this move, expressing satisfaction with the government's initiative. The distribution of hall tickets is being facilitated through the government’s WhatsApp governance service at 9552300009, enabling students to access their hall tickets directly.
