Singer Kalpana's Suicide Attempt Linked to Dispute with Daughter!

Renowned singer Kalpana attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills, according to reports. She is currently receiving treatment at a hospital, and doctors have stated that her condition is stable.

Sources indicate that a dispute with her daughter was the reason behind Kalpana’s suicide attempt. Her elder daughter resides in Kerala. On Tuesday, Kalpana reportedly called her and requested her to come to Hyderabad. However, the daughter refused, insisting that she would stay in Kerala. Investigations by the police revealed that this led to an argument between the mother and daughter over the phone.

Distressed by the disagreement, Kalpana allegedly consumed sleeping pills around 3:00 PM. At 4:30 PM, her husband, Prasad, called from Chennai, but Kalpana did not answer. When she failed to respond to multiple calls, Prasad contacted the villa’s secretary, who knocked on the door but received no response.

Following this, the police were alerted, and upon arrival, they broke open the door and found Kalpana unconscious in her bedroom. She was immediately rushed to the hospital.
