Watchman Ranganna, Key Witness in Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case, Passes Away
Ranganna, an 85-year-old watchman and a key witness in the murder case of former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, has passed away due to health complications. He had been suffering from age-related ailments for some time. On Wednesday afternoon, he experienced severe discomfort, following which his family rushed him to Kadapa RIMS Hospital. Despite receiving medical treatment, he was declared dead by doctors.

Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy was murdered on March 15, 2019, in Pulivendula, a case that caused widespread controversy across the state. Ranganna, who worked as a watchman at Vivekananda Reddy’s residence, had provided testimony to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) during the probe. Reports suggest that he shared crucial details with the CBI, which later included several points related to his statements in the charge sheet.

Ranganna was considered an important witness in the ongoing investigation, and his death has now become a topic of discussion in political circles.
