Borugadda Anil Kumar Goes Missing After Securing Bail with Fake Medical Certificate
Guntur police have launched an extensive search for rowdy-sheeter Borugadda Anil Kumar, who has gone missing after securing interim bail using a fraudulent medical certificate. When police visited his residences in Rajendranagar and Velangini Nagar, they found the houses locked. His family members are also untraceable, with their phones switched off.

Borugadda Anil Kumar was arrested for allegedly using abusive language against Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader Pawan Kalyan, and their family members. He was remanded to Rajahmundry Jail but obtained interim bail on February 15, citing his mother’s ill health. He surrendered back to jail on February 28 but later applied for an extension of his interim bail, claiming that his mother's condition had worsened.

To support his request, he submitted a medical certificate purportedly issued by Dr. P.V. Raghav Sharma, Chief Cardiologist at Lalitha Super Speciality Hospital in Guntur. Based on this document, the court extended his interim bail until March 11. However, Dr. Raghav Sharma later provided a statement denying that he had issued the certificate, revealing that it was fake.

Since then, police have been searching for Borugadda Anil Kumar. There is no evidence confirming that he traveled to Chennai, and authorities are trying to determine his whereabouts since securing bail. His call data records indicate that he last used his phone in Hyderabad. To prevent him from fleeing abroad, Guntur police had already issued a lookout notice.
