Key Witness in Vivekananda Reddy Case: Re-Postmortem Conducted on Ranganna
A re-postmortem was conducted on the body of Ranganna, a key witness in the Vivekananda Reddy murder case, following allegations that he died due to police assault. Ranganna, who worked as a watchman, passed away a few days ago. His wife also expressed doubts about the circumstances of his death, leading to the decision for a second autopsy.

The re-postmortem was carried out in Pulivendula and lasted for four hours. Forensic experts collected multiple organs from Ranganna’s body, which have been preserved and sent for further examination. The procedure was conducted under the supervision of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and revenue officials.

Ranganna was initially subjected to a postmortem after his death, but no conclusive findings emerged. However, as suspicions persisted, even among government authorities, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashok Kumar ordered the re-postmortem.
