Sajjala Accuses Government of Betraying Youth, Calls for Statewide YSRCP Protests
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has alleged that the current government has deceived the youth and unemployed individuals in Andhra Pradesh. He urged the party cadre to organize protests under the banner of "Yuvatha Poru" on March 12. On the same day, he called for grand celebrations of the YSRCP Foundation Day across the state, instructing every village to hoist the party flag.

Addressing regional coordinators and district presidents via video conference from the party headquarters in Tadepalli, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy stated that youth, unemployed individuals, and students in the state were facing numerous difficulties. He claimed that the government's failure to release pending fee reimbursement funds on time had left lakhs of students in distress. He criticized the allocation of only ₹2,600 crore in the budget for fee reimbursement, despite pending dues amounting to approximately ₹3,900 crore. He alleged that the government was pushing poor and middle-class students away from education. Holding back fee reimbursement dues for five consecutive quarters was inhumane, he asserted.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy highlighted that during the YSRCP government’s tenure, significant improvements were made in public healthcare, including the establishment of 17 new government medical colleges. He noted that five of these colleges had completed construction and started classes. However, he alleged that instead of completing and operationalizing the remaining colleges, the current government was conspiring to privatize them.

As the primary opposition party, YSRCP would stand by the youth and students and fight against the government’s policies, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy affirmed. He called for peaceful protests in collaboration with student and youth organizations. He instructed YSRCP members to organize demonstrations and sit-ins in front of all district collectorates, alongside students and unemployed individuals, and to submit petitions to the collectors.

He further urged the party cadre to celebrate the YSRCP Foundation Day on March 12 with enthusiasm in every village, showcasing the party’s strength among the people.
