Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan Denied Entry into the United States
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, K.K. Ahsan Wagan, was denied entry into Los Angeles by U.S. authorities despite possessing valid travel documents and a visa. According to reports, he was turned back at the airport, making the incident a topic of diplomatic discussion.

As per The News, Wagan was traveling to Los Angeles for personal reasons when U.S. immigration officials stopped him at the airport. The decision was reportedly made due to certain discrepancies in his visa. However, the U.S. has not officially provided a clear explanation for the move.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has responded to the incident by ordering an inquiry through the Pakistani Consulate in Los Angeles. There is also a possibility that Wagan may be recalled to Islamabad for further discussions.

Wagan has previously served as the Second Secretary at the Pakistani Embassy in Kathmandu and as the Deputy Consul General at the Pakistani Consulate in Los Angeles. Some media sources in Pakistan suggest that the issue may not be diplomatic but could be linked to complaints filed during Wagan’s previous tenure in the U.S.

This incident comes at a time when reports suggest that the U.S. may impose new travel restrictions on Pakistan. Last week, Reuters reported that Washington is considering stricter measures on Pakistani travelers.
