Shocking Twist in Chittoor Robbery: Local Businessman Planned the Heist

A dramatic twist has emerged in the shooting incident that caused panic in Chittoor on Wednesday morning. A gang of burglars broke into a businessman’s house on Gandhi Road in Chittoor town. They fired shots into the air and threatened the trader’s family while attempting to loot the residence. However, the businessman quickly alerted the police.
Upon receiving the call, the police arrived at the scene and surrounded the house. Special forces from the OCTOPUS unit were deployed, and an intense two-and-a-half-hour operation ensued. Eventually, the gang was subdued, and the police took them into custody. The incident created widespread fear among local residents.
As the investigation progressed, a shocking revelation surfaced—the robbery was not random but orchestrated by another businessman. The house targeted in the attack belonged to Chandrasekhar, the owner of Pushpa Kids World, located near Lakshmi Cinema Hall on Gandhi Road. On Wednesday morning, a gang broke into his house, fired shots into the air, and tried to intimidate his family while attempting to loot valuables.
Chandrasekhar, acting swiftly, alerted the police, who arrived promptly, surrounded the premises, and captured five members of the gang. Authorities seized firearms and rubber bullets from them. However, two more suspects managed to escape, and police teams have launched a search operation to track them down.
According to preliminary investigations, the mastermind behind the robbery was a local businessman—identified as the owner of SLV Furniture. Police stated that he had devised the plan and hired a criminal gang from Karnataka to execute the crime. Officials added that further investigations would reveal additional details about the case.
