South Central Railway Announces Summer Special Trains from Visakhapatnam – Details Here

To accommodate increased passenger traffic during the summer holidays, South Central Railway has announced a series of special trains connecting Visakhapatnam with Bengaluru, Tirupati, and Kurnool City. These weekly special trains will be operational from April 13 until the end of May, according to a statement from the Railway Department.

Train number 08581 will depart from Visakhapatnam every Sunday. On the return journey, train number 08582 will depart from Bengaluru every Monday. These trains will halt at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Yelamanchili, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Jolarpet, Kuppam, Bangarpet, and Krishnarajapuram stations. The available classes include 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper, and General coaches.

Train number 08547 will leave Visakhapatnam every Wednesday. In the return direction, train number 08548 will depart from Tirupati every Thursday. The route includes halts at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Yelamanchili, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tanuku, Bhimavaram Town, Kaikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Srikalahasti, and Renigunta. Available classes are 2AC, 3AC, and General coaches.

Train number 08545 will depart from Visakhapatnam to Kurnool City every Tuesday. For the return journey, train number 08546 will leave Kurnool City on Wednesdays. These trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narasaraopet, Vinukonda, Markapuram, Cumbum, Giddalur, Diguvametta, Nandyal, and Dronachalam stations. The classes available include 2AC, 3AC, and General coaches.

The Railway Department will soon announce the complete arrival and departure timings for these services. Officials have urged passengers to take advantage of these special arrangements.
