Indian cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah achieved rare milestones in T20 cricket. These records were set during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), held on Wednesday at the Uppal stadium. The Mumbai Indians (MI) players delivered standout performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL) fixture.

Mumbai Indians secured a convincing seven-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in this match. Opening batsman Rohit Sharma played a crucial role in the win by scoring 70 runs off 46 balls. With this innings, Rohit Sharma crossed the 12,000-run milestone in T20 cricket.

He became the second Indian batsman, after Virat Kohli, to achieve this feat. Overall, Rohit Sharma is the eighth player globally to amass 12,000 runs in T20s. His current tally stands at 12,056 runs in the format.

In the same match, Mumbai Indians pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah also registered a rare achievement. By dismissing SRH batter Heinrich Klaasen, Bumrah completed 300 wickets in T20 cricket. He became the fastest Indian bowler to reach this mark, achieving it in just 237 innings. Additionally, Bumrah equaled Lasith Malinga’s record for the most wickets (170) taken for Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
