SIT Serves Notice to Ranganna's Wife in Vivekananda Reddy Case
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has intensified its probe into the series of suspicious deaths of witnesses connected to the murder of former minister Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy. As part of the investigation, SIT officials have issued a notice to Suseelamma, the wife of Ranganna, a key witness who recently passed away. According to reports, she has been instructed to appear for questioning.

From the outset of the Vivekananda Reddy murder case, multiple witnesses have died under suspicious circumstances, causing significant public concern. Following the death of approximately six such individuals—most notably the recent death of key witness Ranganna—the government directed focused attention toward these successive fatalities, prompting the formation of the SIT. Since then, SIT officials have been stationed in Pulivendula, actively continuing their investigation.

As part of the ongoing inquiry, SIT officials are also questioning Kasunuru Parameshwar Reddy, another witness in the case. Although Parameshwar Reddy reportedly argued that he had not received an official notice, police are said to have brought him from his residence to the interrogation center in Pulivendula.

The recent issuance of a notice to Suseelamma has taken on added significance. Investigators are expected to gather details from her about the events before and after Ranganna’s death. It is anticipated that she may be questioned later this evening.

There are indications that the SIT may also question the relatives and close associates of all the deceased witnesses involved in the case. The investigation team is reportedly conducting a thorough probe to determine the reasons behind the chain of witness deaths.
