IPL 2025: Mumbai Dominate Lucknow with Explosive Batting Display
Mumbai Indians posted a formidable total in their clash against Lucknow Super Giants, with strong half-centuries from openers Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav setting the tone. The team scored 215 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Ryan Rickelton struck 58 runs off 32 balls, including six fours and four sixes, while Suryakumar Yadav added 54 runs from 28 balls with four fours and four sixes. Their aggressive batting dismantled the Lucknow bowling attack early in the innings.

At one point, Mumbai Indians appeared to be under pressure as Tilak Varma was dismissed for 6 runs and captain Hardik Pandya was out for just 5 runs. However, a late onslaught from Naman Dhir and debutant Corbin Bosch propelled the score beyond the 200-mark.

Naman Dhir remained unbeaten with 25 runs off 11 balls, including two fours and two sixes. Corbin Bosch, playing his first match in the Indian Premier League, contributed 20 runs off 10 balls with two fours and one six.

Returning to competitive cricket after a prolonged injury layoff, Lucknow Super Giants’ express pacer Mayank Yadav delivered a notable performance. He bowled four overs, conceded 40 runs, and claimed two crucial wickets—those of Rohit Sharma (12) and Hardik Pandya.

Among the other bowlers for Lucknow, Avesh Khan took two wickets, while Prince Yadav, Digvijay Rathore, and Ravi Bishnoi claimed one wicket each.
