State Government Invites Jagan for Amaravati Event Attended by PM Modi
The Andhra Pradesh state government has extended an invitation to YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to attend the restart ceremony of the Amaravati capital development works scheduled for tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the event.

On Wednesday evening, government protocol officials visited Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's residence in Tadepalli to deliver the formal invitation. As Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was not available at the time, the officials handed over the invitation to his personal assistant, K. Nageswara Reddy.

Previously, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had been invited to the foundation stone ceremony for Amaravati by the then Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government, but he did not attend. Additionally, during its tenure, the YSRCP-led administration had announced a three-capital policy, diverging from the single-capital Amaravati plan.

In this context, political circles are now keenly observing how Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will respond to the latest invitation. Whether or not he chooses to attend the event has become a topic of active discussion.

Meanwhile, in preparation for the Prime Minister's visit, Minister for Municipal Administration Ponguru Narayana has issued clear directives to officials to ensure there are no lapses in the arrangements. The minister is personally overseeing the preparations. Nearly all arrangements for the Prime Minister's public address and related programs have been completed.
