Minister KTR inaugurates 1152 double Bedroom houses in Hyderabad City

Hyderabad, October 26: Minister for MA&UD K.Taraka Rama Rao, inaugurated the distribution of 2BHK dignity housing to the needy at three locations in the city here today. with an outlay of Rs.95.58 Crores constructed 1152 2BHK houses. In Jiyaguda - 840, Godeke Kabar -192 and Kattelmandi - 120 2BHK houses with an outlay of Rs.95.58 Crores constructed 1152 2BHK houses. There will be transparency in allotment 2BHKs. Suggested the public not to believe middlemen. Facilities will be provided like in Gated Community.

Speaking on the occasion Minister K.Taraka Rama Rao said as per the aspiration of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao, Government is providing Basic  Amenities like – Drinking Water, Electricity, and roads so the poor people.

During the inauguration of Dignity Housing Colonies Ministers, Home Mohd. Mahmood Ali, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Cinematography T.Srinivas Yadav, H.w.Mayor Dr.Bonthu Rammohan, Dy.Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, Corporators A.Krishna, D.Mohan, Mukesh Singh, Commissioner, GHMC Lokesh Kumar, Collector Hyderabad Swetha Mohanty, Housing C.E. Suresh, Zonal Commissioner Ms.Praveenya participated in the inauguration program.      

While addressing the gathering Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao recalled the saying “Illu Kati chudu, Pelli Chesi Chudu”  and Chief Minister is with the poor people like Elder son for BHK  housing and as parental Uncle supporting for Daughter’s marriage.

Further, the Minister said Chief Minister K.Chandra Shekar Rao is the only CM who is giving Rs.1,01,116/- towards Adabidda Pendli and 2BHK dignity housing to the poor in the entire country.

About 1lakh  2BHKs are being built in the city and they will be distributed in a phased manner to the eligible poor people. Further said during the previous Government regime since, 1985 i.e 35 years back the then Government claimed about 40 Lakhs houses built if it is true, by this time everybody would have a house,  but the Telangana Government is constructing one Lakh houses in the city and anybody can verify them.

Further, the Minister while speaking on this occasion at Ziyaguda said,   the beneficiaries should form a society, to maintain the 2BHK dignity colonies – like Lift maintenances, to keep the colony neat & clean to live healthy with income generation from 56 shops provided in the colony. Though the Government spending Rs.9 Lakhs on each unit, in the open market its value is around Rs.40 lakhs. Basthi Dhawakana free medical facility provided,  further facilities like Library, Anganvadi will be provided. With an outlay of Rs.18 thousand Crores, a total of 2.50 lakhs 2BHKs are being built., its Market value is around Rs 70 thousand  Crores. This is proof of Government commitment to providing people welfare programs.
